Distance Runwear was founded in 2012 by Dave and Meghan Cressman to fill the need for a true specialty run shop in Vancouver. 

Our footwear philosophy differs from the status quo in that we believe the foot should be able move naturally, and footwear should not impede our natural running or walking gait. By encouraging each customer to focus on improved mechanics and running economy the need for a traditional structured supportive shoe can be minimized.

In 2016 we opened in North Vancouver. Located just off Highway 1, and right beside Lynn Creek, its the perfect location to drop in after a trail run, or for customers coming in from east of Vancouver. We stock a wide selection of shoes for athletic and casual wear, all of which are selected to promote natural bio-mechanics and healthier, stronger feet.
